Wake-up calls can be set or cancelled remotely from a telephone or attendant console using the Hotel/Motel Room Remote Wake-up Call feature access codes. After a wake-up time is set, it can be examined in the Guest Room Window for the specified extension on the attendant console.
Wake-up calls behave in the same manner regardless of how they are set (see Hotel/Motel - Setting Automatic Wake-up Calls or Suite Services - Wake-up Calls). A wake-up log entry is generated each time a wake-up call is set, attempted, changed, or cancelled.
The feature access codes are supported through digit entry on the set. Dial tone at the end of the wake-up call set or cancel operation indicates success; reorder tone indicates failure of the operation.
The Hotel/Motel feature must be enabled on the system.
The extension or suite that will receive the wake-up call must be entered in the Guest Rooms or Suites form.
You can only set the wake-up call remotely using a feature access code.
Set the Hotel/Motel Room Remote Wake-up Call Allowed option to "Yes" on all extensions from which wake-up calls can be set or cancelled, and for the voice mail Class of Service.
